Responsibilities

  • Design and build backend services in Node.js and TypeScript
  • Model and evolve GraphQL and REST APIs consumed by multiple client systems
  • Own database design, migrations and query performance on PostgreSQL
  • Build for observability, graceful failure and predictable operational behaviour
  • Review code and raise the engineering bar within your delivery pod

Requirements

  • 6+ years building backend services in production
  • Deep Node.js and TypeScript experience
  • Strong GraphQL schema design and REST API fundamentals
  • PostgreSQL depth: indexing, transactions, performance tuning
  • Experience with automated testing and CI-driven delivery

Nice to Have

  • Event-driven architecture and message-broker experience
  • Exposure to multi-tenant SaaS data isolation patterns
  • Prior work in an enterprise consulting or embedded-team model
